Hal M. Brodsky, MD, was born in New York and has lived in Florida since age 15. He attended college at Mercer University in Macon, Ga. and is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed a residency in family practice at the University of Florida and was in practice in Gainesville for 11 years before joining GFP in 2003. Dr. Brodsky is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Brodsky also cares for patients receiving rehabilitation at North Florida Rehab and Specialty Care Center. He is an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop 432 in Gainesville and has been a scout leader since 2001. His hobbies include road bicycling, birding, woodworking and reading. Dr. Brodsky is married with two children.
